Baking courses – Love to bake, learn to bake
If you want to learn bread baking or just enjoy bread baking, why not join us for a baking afternoon. Once a month, we meet in the bakehouse and bake. We cater for complete beginners or people who want to get back to baking, refine what they are doing already or figure out where things might have gone wrong.
Sunday afternoon 2 -6 pm
Cost per person €95
We bake sourdough, soda, yeast loaves, brioche and pastry. We can experiment with whatever you like. Focus on one thing or do it all. You bring home what you make, a stack of recipes to make more at home and a sourdough starter to keep you going. We’ll also have lots of chat, tea and coffee and basically a good afternoon of working dough and making bread. Can be so therapeutic!!! You also get a tool to keep you going as in a bench scraper, a danish whisk or a scoring knife…. They’ll remind you to bake whenever you see them in your kitchen…..

There is a ” Rising course” day on 12th April, for all who have been with us before and want to bake again and/or move on to more complex baking.
