Austrian breakfast plait

The Austrian breakfast plait is a Brioche bread, a sweet loaf made with organic spelt, eggs, milk and butter and yeast. We also use our own mince meat from Christmas baking to add sweetness and flavour. In Austria they would just use fruit. As an enriched bread, it has a shelf life of a few days. If it ever gets older than that, it makes the most amazing bread and butter pudding!!!
